Automated gates offer security and convenience for any household or commercial property. There are a number of different choices for opening types as well as entry systems, exit option, safety features, system voltage, GSM; the options are almost endless but this gives the opportunity for the system to be tailored to meet your exact requirements.

If you would like more information on gate automation then please contact us. The below page details some basic information on opening types as well as our pre-wired installation process.

Gate Automation Units

Power arm

These are visible arms which are fitted to existing or new gates. The arm is visible unless the gate has been designed to include a panel to hide it.

Underground

Underground systems are more commonly used for larger and new instillation, being slightly more complicated to install than power arms. This system is used for the pre wired instillation explained below.

Sliding

Sliding gates are the most complicated to install and are best suited to areas where it is not possible to have a swing gate due to space limitations or a sloping drive.

Pre Wired

The gates are delivered pre wired and tested on a steel frame Pre-Wired Gate ready for delivery to sitewith two types of frame available. The first has exposed posts which will stay exposed when complete; the second has extended hinges and brackets to allow for brick pillars to be built around them after gate installation.

The Gates are then placed into pre-prepared footings. The trench across the drive is dug early morning prior to gates arriving to site with Electricians providing power supply to within 2m of the control panel.

The trench is then back filled and additional concrete is added to stabilise the post and give a good foundation for any brick work. The wiring of extra photocells, intercoms and detection loops may be added at any convenient time.
